POWERSPORTS MARKETING OPERATIONS

Powersports Dealership Marketing, Run Like an Operating Department

Carry four OEMs and you carry four seasons, four co-op rulebooks and four sets of deadlines against one budget. We run them off one plan with one owner — or train your team to run it.

Different Machines. Different Buyers. Different Seasons.

One generic plan does not cover a powersports floor. A motorcycle, an ATV, a side-by-side, a personal watercraft, a sled and a trailer each move on their own timeline, in their own window, under a different OEM program funding a different part of the funnel.

A side-by-side shopper in March is not the same buyer as a watercraft shopper in June. A snowmobile lead in October needs a different follow-up cadence than a used cruiser lead in January. The co-op deadlines, MDF windows, and brand standards for Can-Am are not the same ones that govern Sea-Doo — even when the same dealer group carries both.

Meanwhile the website vendor sees the website. The CRM vendor sees the CRM. The agency sees the ad account. Each one reports a good month inside its own box, and the store still cannot say which dollar sold which unit. Nobody is sitting above all of it.

What We Run

Paid Media

Google, Meta, YouTube and the supporting channels, built around units actually in stock, whatever OEM programs are live this month, and customer actions you can count. Budgets get assigned by what the campaign is there to do and where the money comes from. A non-current sled in July gets a different plan and a different number than a first-year side-by-side in March.

CRM & Lead Flow

Sources corrected, routing tested against real submissions, follow-up that keeps going after the first attempt, every lead traceable to what it actually was. Nights and weekends covered, because the customer who submitted at 9 PM Saturday is at somebody else's store by Monday.

OEM Co-op & MDF

Eligibility, pre-approval, compliant creative, proof, submission packets and claim status, across every OEM program the store participates in. Factory-funded activity stays on its own line from dealer-led activity. The OEM or program administrator determines reimbursement.

Website & Conversion

Merchandising, landing pages, tracking and conversion work done with your website provider rather than around them. When a model page stops turning traffic into leads, we catch it that week and go fix it with the people who own the platform.

SEO & Local Search

Local, model and inventory search built around how somebody actually shops a UTV: brand, then trim, then who has one on the ground within driving distance. Ranking for terms that never put anyone in the showroom is a report, not a result.

Email & Lifecycle

Campaigns run off CRM and DMS data: promotions, events, service reminders, ownership follow-up, retention and reactivation. You paid to acquire that list once. It should be good for a second unit, accessories and the service drive.

Dealer AI & Automation

Monitoring built for your store that watches spend, feeds, tracking, lead sources and co-op deadlines and escalates to a person before anything changes. Left alone, automation drifts, and it will not tell you it drifted.

Vendor Coordination

You keep the vendors you have. We sit on the calls, hold the CMS, CRM and DMS to dates, and chase every open ticket until it closes. Your team can stay in front of them or hand them over — either way one person is following it.

Train Your Team or Run It — Your Call

Your current vendors keep their work. What changes is that someone owns the plan they all sit inside.

  • Run the system end-to-end. Strategy, execution, monitoring, reporting and the vendor calls, as your marketing department on retainer.
  • Strengthen your current team. Audit the foundation, set the cadence, train your people on CRM source accuracy, follow-up, co-op submission and the operating report — then hand work back as their capacity improves.
  • Fill specific gaps. Take the pieces that are leaking: nights-and-weekends follow-up, co-op tracking, a source list nobody has touched in years, or the vendor calls. Your team keeps the rest.

Most engagements open with a Dealer Growth Audit and a foundation rebuild. After that we either stay on as the operating partner or drop back to a quarterly review as the dealer's own team takes on more.

What Leadership Gets Back

  • One owner: one name against every open marketing issue, and a phone that gets answered
  • One source of truth: lead sources that match reality, spend, co-op status and inventory priorities in one place
  • A weekly issue list: what broke, what changed, who has it, when it is due
  • A monthly operating review: spend, leads, lead quality, response time, MDF status and units when the store shares them
  • A 90-day priority map: fixes ordered by what they are worth to the store, not by which vendor is easiest to schedule
  • Fewer surprises: daily checks for spend drift, feed failures, tracking loss, disapprovals and deadlines about to pass

Ideal Fit

  • Multi-line powersports dealer groups running several OEM programs at once
  • Dealerships rebuilding CRM and source tracking
  • Stores sitting on co-op and MDF they never claimed
  • Any powersports dealer with a marketing team but no operating plan behind it

Stop managing vendors. Start running a system.

The audit walks your rooftops, market, competitors, media accounts, website journey, CRM configuration, lead flow, tracking and co-op programs — then hands you an ordered list of what to fix first and what each fix is worth.

Questions, answered

Before we get to work.

Can-Am, Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, side-by-sides, ATVs, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, and trailers. Each one moves on its own season and its own OEM rulebook, and all of them run inside one operating system.

Usually not. We run the full system, back up the team you have, or take the pieces that are leaking. What holds either way: one operator owns the issue list and answers for it.

Most agencies stop at lead generation. We stay accountable through follow-up, because a lead nobody works was not worth buying. Where a dealership shares its sales data, we report cost per sold unit alongside cost per lead. The opening question is how many units you retailed last year, not what you are spending on ads.
